Lean Management

At Rudolph Logistics North America, we employ a proprietary lean management system for logistics – the “Rudolph Logistics System” (RLS). We built the system around four cornerstones:

Organization

Key Performance Indicators

Process

Employees

Customer benefits include:
  • Lean and flexible processes
  • Flat hierarchies
  • Measurable assessment and meaningful reporting
  • Continual improvement
  • Shortened process time
  • Cost reduction
  • Sustainability

Developed with the Fraunhofer Institute for Circuits ISS, RLS provides an organizational and methodological foundation for the successful implementation of Lean Management warehouse operations company-wide.

Cornerstones for Lean Management

Practical Lean Management
Used Daily

Developing a Lean Management system is one thing. Truly anchoring it in a company and making daily use of lean warehouse management is another. This is the main responsibility of our Quality and Lean Management officers. They implement the individual methods and manage the use of the tools that belong to the Rudolph Logistics System (RLS) system.

There are many different Lean Management methods and tools. We concentrate exclusively on those methods that have proven to be practical, sensible and capable of bringing real benefits for our customers and for ourselves. We believe in:

  • Less is more
  • Developing processes
  • Avoiding errors
  • Maximizing creativity
